Standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) · Last updated: 2026-06-10

Sync is strictly an 18+ dating application. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, or any sexualization of minors. This page describes the standards we maintain to keep minors off the platform and to combat CSAE, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.

Age restriction

Sync is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We require a date of birth at registration and reject anyone under 18. Accounts discovered to belong to a minor are removed immediately.

Prohibited conduct

How to report

Every profile and chat in Sync has an in-app Report action with a dedicated "User appears under 18" category. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. You may also email our child-safety contact below.
